A severe allergic response with a high mortality risk is anaphylaxis. If you're allergic to something, like peanuts or bee stings, it might happen seconds or minutes after exposure.
Anaphylaxis causes your immune system to discharge a rush of chemicals, which might send you into shock. Your airways shrink, and your blood pressure drops suddenly, making breathing difficult. A quick, low pulse, a rash on the skin, nausea, and vomiting are some indications and symptoms. Some meals, some drugs, insect venom, and latex are typical triggers.
A further visit to the emergency department is necessary after administering an epinephrine shot for anaphylaxis. Go to the medical facility right away if you don't have epinephrine. Anaphylaxis can be fatal if it fails to be treated quickly.
